Course Description
This workshop is the gold standard, 2-day interactive skills-based workshop that prepares participants to provide suicide first-aid using a unique 6-task model. It is for anyone who would like to learn life-saving skills and it can be incorporated into formal professional helping roles.
Training Objectives
ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety.
